Thinking of building a new home? Contact me BEFORE you start your search. If you visit a new subdivision or model home for the first time on your own, you will forfeit your right to have a Buyers Agent represent you. If I am not available to attend the first visit with you, I will pre-register you with the builder's representative prior to your first visit.

As a Buyers Agent in new construction, I will review site plans, maps, builders costs vs. buyer costs and blueprints with you prior to you signing a purchase offer. I will also make suggestions for possible alterations based on my experience in both new construction and existing home sales.

For your protection, you will need to consider what contingencies to use when writing a purchase offer on your new build. Most likely you will have a home to sell. Coordinating the sale and possession of your existing home with completion of your new home are major considerations that need to be addressed upfront.
